I work with clients across Great Britain, on residential, commercial and heritage projects. Much of the design and planning work I do is carried out remotely, so where a project is need not be a limit on whether I can help.

Whether a site visit is needed depends on the type of project and the stage it has reached. Some planning work can be progressed without a visit, while other work benefits from seeing the building and its setting in person. Where a site is reachable by train, visiting it is straightforward, and I am happy to talk through what a particular project would involve.

Planning is decided locally, and each area has its own council, local plan and design expectations. In Scotland the planning system is separate again, with its own legislation and national policy.
