Privacy notice

This notice explains how CU Architects handles personal information when you make an enquiry or book a discovery call. It is written for UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

Who is responsible for your information

CU Architects is the data controller for enquiries made through this website. You can reach us through the contact page.

What we collect and why

We only collect the information you choose to send us:

  • The details you put in an email enquiry, such as your name, contact details and a description of your project.
  • The information you provide when booking a discovery call through the booking link.

We use this information to reply to you, to arrange a call, and to discuss whether and how we can help with your project. The lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries about our services, and taking steps at your request before any agreement.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry correspondence only for as long as we need it to deal with your enquiry and any project that follows from it, and then for a reasonable period for our business records. We do not sell your information or use it for unrelated marketing.

Analytics and cookies

This website uses a privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics beacon. It records aggregate visit statistics and does not set cookies, does not track you across other websites, and does not identify you. Because no cookies are set for tracking, the site does not show a cookie consent banner.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have rights over your personal information, including the right to ask for a copy, to ask us to correct it, and to ask us to delete it. To make a request, use the contact page.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
