About

About the practice.

Chan Ung, ARB-registered architect

I am a UK qualified architect, registered with the Architects Registration Board (ARB), with over 20 years of experience across retail, residential and Grade II listed buildings. I value the importance of client and architect working closely together to create a space that is creative, functional and personal.

In recent years I have worked on a growing number of projects in designated areas, including conservation areas and National Landscapes (formerly Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty), where the planning context is more sensitive and the detail matters even more. I also handle a steady stream of retrospective planning applications, helping owners put work that was built without permission onto a proper footing.

The practice is deliberately small in scale, so you work directly with me from the first meeting through to completion. The title “architect” is protected in law under the Architects Act 1997, and only those on the ARB register may use it.

You are welcome to connect with me on LinkedIn.
